ELHOUMA has always been about more than clothing.

In the Algerian Arabic dialect, Darija, el houma means “the neighbourhood.” But to us, it represents much more than a place. It is the people who make somewhere feel like home, the memories we carry with us, and the sense of belonging that comes from being part of a community.

That idea is at the heart of everything we create.

ELHOUMA was built to create pieces that allow people to carry a sense of home, culture, and identity with them wherever they go. Our designs take inspiration from the places we come from, the stories that shaped us, and the communities that connect us.

As the brand continues to grow, our goal is to tell those stories in new ways through clothing, design, craftsmanship, and the people who make up our neighbourhood.

We also believe that community means giving back and using our platform to support causes and initiatives that matter to the people and communities around us.
